Burfeind Will Donate Winnings To Support Sight-saving Programs of Prevent Blindness America, Employer and Turner Construction Company Charity Foundation Will Match Donation.



The goal of the event is to raise much-needed funds to support Prevent Blindness America, the nation's oldest volunteer eye health and safety organization.



Of the 2.5 million eye injuries that occur annually, almost half of those happen at home.



Star Pupils: Healthy Eyes for Healthy Futures partnered with Davis Vision and Sen. Kevin Parker (D-N.Y.) to bring 100 kids and families from the Flatbush YMCA and the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club to the New York Yankee game on Thurs., Aug. 19 to raise awareness of the importance of eye health--especially for children.
